Well, thank you all for your good comments. I shall paint everyone in a hat in future! The hat version was the second to be painted so perhaps I was getting to grips with the subject by then.

We had a model at our art group today. I ve put a few quick sketches on the Forum for the daily sketch, and these are two half hour paint sketches. She doesn’t look too happy and that was before she saw the results!
