Yes, I think this is great! Full of life and vigour.

Thanks Ann and Gudrun. Out of my comfort zone, so many people on this site do great animal portraits. But fun to do.

Here's a cute little chap. Your grass cutting chap will be delighted and touched by your kindness. The dog has a kind little face doesn't he and what a nice touch to include his name in the picture.

Very sweet looking little doggie Sylvia and I'm sure that your grass man will tresor it! I had a Westie a long time ago and they are such lovely dogs. Beautiful painting with full of gentle character.

I think you have captured his slightly quizzical look perfectly Sylvia

What lovely comments . Thank you , they are apreciated.

A delightful portrait of a lovely little dog Sylvis, I'm sure your friend will be very touched by such a thoughtful gift.

Well - I didn't have you down as an animal artist but you have done a super job with this one. Obviously done with great feeling and empathy for your lovely man and his sweet little dog.

Congrats on the outcome - more in the pipeline?

I might well do some more pet pics... make good pressies. Thanks Thea and Michael for words of encouragement.

What a lovely thought and an equally lovely painting of a dear little dog...It breaks your heart when you lose a canine pal and I'm sure your lovely man will be very moved by this. x

Really not what I do , a completely new direction. But Lucky was the dog of a lovely man who has been cutting my grass for twelve years. He was a rescue and had a lovely life then old age caught up with him. He went to doggy heaven last Christmas , so as my lovely man is packing up his lawnmower at the end of the year I thought I would paint a pic of Lucky dog for him. Hopefully I have caught the doggy look . No masterpiece but a happy reminder I hope.
