Excellent stuff Sylvia, love it, free and easy and with just a well executed few elements. best Mick

Lovely colours ... and freshness and liveliness - obviously as you were just about rushing out of the room!

I wish my quick work looked this good, Sylvia

Very nice and loose Sylvia! Love the colours of the mountains!

Hi Sylvia, this caught my eye, just had to look, love the colours and contrast. Splatter really works well. Every time I try something loose, it never comes out as good as this.

Yes, quite eye-catching again Sylvia.

Love the spontaneity of this Sylvia

Lovely comments , thank you. I live in a very beautiful part of the U K ... And often think that I go around with my eyes wide open shut. I go to somewhere new and cant get at my paints quick enough. We just don't see in the same way what is just under our noses.

Beautiful picture Sylvia.

Fabulous Sylvia! Great colours.

Another winner Sylvia :)

My only crit of it is the technical one that you obviously applied your resist before painting your branches: is that a problem? I don't know.... probably not, but it's the sort of thing that a chap who's done exactly the same thing in his time notices....... prevented you from applying the spatter higher up, too. Still works, mind!

Robert you are so right. I am not much of a planner, more of a reactor. This was done very quickly before I swept all my gear into a bag. As I splatted I had a silent swear...( sometimes a loud swear) as I realised what I had done. My paintings are usually an emotional response rather than a sensible measured one.

An excellent study, Sylvia - so very atmospheric and lively.

Gorgeous colours Sylvia, love the black uprights of the tree's against the purple mountains and blue sky

Another High Atlas painting. This was the view from our room... So lucky. Anyhow I digress. We were almost leaving soI did this quickly and loosely... I stood over it to use my rigger well primed with dark colour. Then the usual Sylvia splatter to just suggest leaves.
