He looks a lollopy old thing and a great character. I like the way you've restricted the colours Sylvia and the movement in all the strokes.

Thank you Marjorie for all your posts ...Ooops .

Sylvia, he's full of character - relax, it's worked. He has idiosyncrasy - if you hadn't mentioned the eyes I wouldn't have noticed anything wrong with them, and as a matter of fact I don't think there IS anything wrong with them. What you actually notice is the fluidity of the painting, which makes him look as if he's moving and alive. Never fret about details if you've told the truth - which, so far as I can see, you have.

Thank you Robert. Sometimes the more you try and the more you look the worse things become. So your reassurance is lovely. Hopefully his owner will like it as well she knows nothing about it....so shush.

What an appealing dog Scooby looks, the eyes look fine to me and he looks as if he's hoping that you're bringing some sort of doggy treat for him! I also like the more stylised effect. His owners will love it!

Thanks Christine...that dog is ALWAYS waiting for a treat.

You have given him eyes you couldn't resist Sylvia, no wonder he gets so many treats!

There is a lot character there Sylvia. I think he is thinking 'is it dinner time yet'.

Thank you Fiona and Carole ...he really is a greedy dog. But very lovable.

He's irresistible, Sylvia! He looks like he's bursting with personality! His Mum is a very lucky recipient of this wonderful piece.

Love these dogs Sylvia and i love your looser paintings ,its a nice body of work. I enjoyed looking through your gallery.

Thank you Dennis . I think he will be back with us sometime over the summer.

This is Scooby dog. He belongs to a young friend of mine. It's her birthday next week. Scooby came to stay with us for two weeks last summer. He is an utter character and the greediest dog I have ever come across . He was adopted from a Merseyside Rescue home.i Anyhow here he is , I have had great problems with his eyes and am still not too happy with them. Just hope his mum likes him.
