A lovely spot Sylvia. Bluebells just beg to be painted.

Lovely painting.

A lovely painting Sylvia , looks a superb woodland. How lucky to see the vixen and cubs particularly in a rural area , they are normally off when people are around.

I do love a bluebell or three! Love the fox story too. Weirdly my daughter in London now seems to see more foxes that we do here in the countryside!

How lovely Sylvia on both counts.

I think she had a temporary den there Dixie and yed Tessa the suburbs/cities seem to have more of them in view.Sam rolls in some sort of unmentionable stuff could be Fox could be Badger....thank you, and Carole and Stephen.

And Heather.

Beautiful 😍

Oh Sylvia you’ve reminded me of our previous dog Suki who loved nothing better than a roll in fox poo! Yuk, such an awful smell.

And why not! They’re always lovely to look at. Nice one Sylvia.

Nicely done indeed

Another beautiful painting, Sylvia!!

Yeah…..more trees and bluebells, what a combination Sylvia. No sign of the bluebells here yet, only their green leaves peeping through……but I know where they are come the time!

So many more thank you's the old biddy is going a tad senile so thanks everyone. Yes Fiona you are a bit further north actually quite a few of you are. We get to know exactly when and where our own flowers etc "happen".....

Lovely work Sylvia. I've been on a bluebell walk this afternoon and I was wondering how to paint them. How lovely for you to see fox cubs too, I managed to spot a couple of deer this afternoon which was quite nice though!

This is lovely Sylvia, love the splattering, always welcome bluebells…

Lovely loose and dynamic painting Sylvia.

Nicely expressive piece.

Take a smile Alan .Thank you.

Beautifully done Sylvia.

Deserves all the comments, lovely!!!

Strong brushstrokes. Super use of colour. Great work.

Good one Sylvia, I love all that splat.

And more thanks. I really do appreciate you taking the time and the trouble.🌻

Beautiful Sylvia.

Thank you Karen.

I really like how you've done this Sylvia, the 'splat' really captures the atmosphere of a bluebell wood😊

Thank you Kate....splat is fun.

Lovely semi-abstract style Sylvia.

My comment is late, because I had what I think we might call a bit of a digestive issue - entirely my own fault: I don't react all that well to chocolate, and I had a bit after a feed of fish and chips. The results were - unfortunate. Your result, on the other hand, has been entirely fortunate; good idea painting the same spot as the seasons change, which reminds me - I've got a winter and autumn version of a painting, and if I don't hurry up and get the Spring one done, it'll all be over....

Every year I paint this bit of woodland. This is watercolour and gouache and splat. It's around the corner from me and one year I had the privilege of watching a Vixen keeping an eye on her cubs who were rolling around in the bluebells.
