My first ever use of pastels here's my portrait Grace. the lovely young model at this weeks portrait group. I found this very difficult indeed and so messy, but I persevered! Not my usual outrageously colourful style, as it is rather delicate lol, probably because I kept smudging the pastel away!! I enjoyed the experience though and I'm sure I'll try something else soon.

In late 2017 I joined an acrylic art class as a beginner and I've been painting ever since. I particularly enjoy impressionism, expressionism and fauvism and a lot of my art work reflects this. I also enjoying painting portraits. I would like to thank all POL members who help and encourage me.
