A stunning painting Susan. Love everything about it but especially her eyes. They have such an intense wistfulness about them.

Inspired by the the 1920s & 30s fashion and influenced by post impressionism and fauvism in particular. I created Daphne, a sophisticated lady who is contemplating the meaning of life. This could be rather appropriate at this moment in time with the so called new 'normal'! Painted in acrylics.

In late 2017 I joined an acrylic art class as a beginner and I've been painting ever since. I particularly enjoy impressionism, expressionism and fauvism and a lot of my art work reflects this. I also enjoying painting portraits. I would like to thank all POL members who help and encourage me.
