Two toucans side by side were just waiting to be painted. The birds were easier to paint than the background. One version was just green but that became blotchy for some reason. Then i changed it to leaf type design but again didnt work. Final try was this collage effect. Watercolour, acrylic and pen on Canson Montval 300 gsm paper.
