Great first attempt Sue. You can use double sided tape folded over several times and stick it under each side of the mount and this will raise the Perspex from your painting.

Thank you so much Carole! This is really useful to know 😄

Really well done Sue.

Yes, a simple bevelled mount will sort the issue out. All pen and inks look better if they’re in a mount, preferably white or just off white. Acrylic inks are great to use, and a nice little drawing so keep going…

This is lovely. I love inks, good advice from our friends, sometimes I use a double mount which can lift the glass for fine textural work too.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments and helpful advice. It’s nice to take a break from my usual watercolours.

Very good first go Sue

Very well done Sue. Double mounts for me every time.

A very successful first attempt Sue.

And thank you also Heather, George and Fiona for your support

I recently purchased some acrylic inks and am enjoying the new challenges it brings whilst experimenting. Does anyone know how best to frame these inks as I am worried it will stick to the Perspex glass in the frame? I have scratched some of the surface to give white marks and re-inked some areas to make them darker. Any thoughts with be most welcome!
