So very sweet. They are having a good chin wag Sue.

Another good one

How lovely, Sue! This would make a great Christmas card!

A little beauty Sue. Perhaps you will feel brave enough to finish the background when you have a little more confidence….which will come, I’m certain.

Thank you Carole, Heather, Spencer and Fiona for your kind words. They say practice makes perfect so I will have to work on my background painting next.

When the red red robin comes bob, bob, bobbing along. There will be no more sobbing when he starts throbbing his old sweet song. Wake, wake up you sleep head come on get up get out of bed, live love, laugh and be happy. What if I was blue now I’m walking through fields of flowers. Rain may glisten but still I’ll listen for hours and hours. I’m just a kid again doing what I did again singing this song. When the red, red robin comes bob, bob bobbing along. One more time. When the red, red robin… Well done Sue.

Lovely Painting Sue. Glad you had a go at my article. Kerry

I really enjoyed painting the two robins following the step by step guide given by Kerry Bennett in The Leisure Painter, January 2024. I didn’t feel brave enough to tackle the background in case I spoilt what I had already done!
