I tell you what Angus, this isn't far of Bid D shep's work. I like the way you've left the surrounding areas a little out of focus, concentrating the eye on the main deal there. Which is very well painted if you ask me. Paint on mate.

Thank you Chris, your comments are much appreciated

so real............lovely

This is very, very well painted. My, you are versatile. Love the traction engine and the meadow which have a lovely olde worlde feel. As you remark, a different age.

Empress of Britain, a study of a traction engine at the end of the steam age on farms as indicated by the grass beginning to grow around her wheels as she sits quietly in a rural setting. A nostalgic portrayal of life gone by but a reminder for the enthusiast and collector of the engineering and mechanical marvels that were the mainstay of agriculture before the advent of the tractor. Inspired by the work of David Shepherd - but oh for a fraction of that man's talent. Unframed This particular picture was painted in oils (For sale - please contact me for details)
