This is from a photograph of my rambling group admiring the winter sun on a very frosty morning in Staffordshire. Paintings of groups of people may not be common but I was drawn to composition of the main group with the added impact of Mary and Judith on the outside. With walking sticks a plenty, I thought the shadows were particularly interesting.
