Not suprised myself. I like it. You have the mood just right. Cropping's a bit dodgy though mate. Paint on.

This painting caught my eye, very nice indeed.

i think this is a very good painting of light and shade, very good...chris

Great play of light and shade. It needs the black, it works well. I'm not suprised that someone wanted to frame it its a very nice peice of work.

I really like this too - nice mood coming through. The comp is just fine from where I'm sitting. Would like to see a better photo of it though. BTW: I often paint in just four colours - especially woodland stuff - I tend to use cobalt blue, raw umber, sap green and tit white. I always find raw umber and cobalt gives a slightly greener dark that burnt umber and ultramarine which is more red...

Fantastic atmosphere. Love it.

15x18 Acrylic on watercolour board.... not the most interesting composition but it was painted as an exercise in limited palette painting.... only 4 colours were used...ultramarine, burnt umber, titanium white and cadmium yellow. I was surprised when someone wanted to frame it.... too much black for my taste
