Gee Steve, I'm an absolute beginner and I think these trees are marvelous. The whole pic is terrific. Lots of atmosphere with strength in the bracken and trees and then a lovely, soft treatment of the Deer...I like it a lot.

This is fantastic. So is all this 'old stuff' as you call it. Goodness I have a long way to go to get as good as this and I won't see 20 again!!!! Many thanks for your comment on my landscape. I also like high and low horizons.

This has a beautiful ethereal quality to it that makes you want to step in and go for a stroll through, what appears to be, very welcoming woodland. I think the trees add to that quality too.

Hi Steve, many thanks for remarks on my art work. it was nice of you to stop by. what a wonderfull talented artist you are....all are just superb.....wish i had some of your exceptional talent. this one i love, its beautifull. finding it a bit difficult to get to grips with acrylic...most of the time. tend to use.....like watercolour, putting down..glazes.never been brave eneough to use straight from tube. lol regards irene.

What a lucky family you have. They can recognise a good thing when they see it.You shoulndnt be so critical of your work its fantastic!

Another early attempt (i cringe when i see how i painted the trees) also another picture claimed by the family (studio scavengers the lot of em hehe).... i think i was only about 20 years old when i did this ....seems a long time ago to this 36 year old. Good to see how one progresses through time though.
