I'd agree with you regarding watercolour, like me you seem to be inspired by many diverse subjects and materials but that's what keeps me working at it,always learning, keep going and sharing.

Yeah, i have heard all the "you must find your own style" advice which i'm sure works for many people, but for me i change how i work as often as i paint, my friends would probably say that reflects my personality as i'm always running around in different directions hehe... i just don't have time to paint for profit so having a recognisable style is far less important to me than enjoying each piece while i'm painting it. Alot of my work ends up in the bin, but its never wasted as every mistake is a lesson learned. one subject matter i've never attempted is urban life and landscape, i think i'll make that my next challenge .... :o)

This is gorgeous. I almost wish there was some sort of favouriting system here as if there were, this would be on my favourite list. Well done, you stood up to the challenge really well!

This is beautiful. I came here to look at it, and I wasn't disappointed.

Watercolour on 'Not' paper. I rarely use watercolours as i generally build up a painting from rough underpainting and gradually refine it by overpainting with more accurate layers. Watercolour and it's "get it right first time" approach is a real nail biting challenge for me.
