Beach scene

Excellent use of depth and perspective 👌

A lovely beach scene and having the figure recede into the distance gives depth to the painting. Not an easy thing to paint or draw with all those figures, but you have managed it really well.

I think you've got the scale of the bathers spot on and all those figures, really well done.

Really appreciate all the positive comments. The grid certainly helped to create a sensation of depth- mostly to scale and tried not to slavishly recreate the photo (which would be slightly beyond my capabilities!!)

Added some more detail and adjusted some tone levels to make improvement to this version and posted it in the same gallery. Thanks!
