Thank you! The foreground is actually the part I was least sure about. I tried to capture the mixture of green, purple and yellow heathers but it ended up seeming a bit haphazard.

I received a really nice set of watercolour paints for my birthday, so this is my first attempt at a watercolour painting. It's very different to acrylic, but just as enjoyable!

Stephen Baker

I first started painting in March 2017 after a starter box of acrylic paints had sat on my shelf for fifteen years. After sorting out the tubes that had dried up and buying a better selection of brushes, I finally jumped into this wonderful hobby and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
