Good experiment Stephen

The soft trees in the background really sets the excellent off.

Many thanks, Heather and Stephen.

Super work keep it going.

Many thanks Alan. It is interesting that using a rather large, cheap brush can give a better result than an expensive, bueatifully made sable brush.

Good for you Stephen, glad you are still managing to get out and about. Smashing watercolour.

Nicely painted as always Stephen

Great trees and shadows.

Many thanks Richard.

It’s got wonderful atmosphere

Many thanks Lisa, I think it reflects my appreciation of a lovely Spring day in these trying times.

Looked at a a video on the Internet earlier, someone painting simply, using a Hake (brush not fish) as Ron Ranson used to joke! Thought I would have a go from a photo I took this morning, on my permitted walk. ( Probably need a license soon!) I did enjoy the experience (walking and painting).

Stephen Slater

I am a self taught amateur painter, I mostly paint landscapes in watercolour but I 'dabble' in other mediums from time to time. I really enjoy my art, especially painting outdoors when the weather allows.
