Many thanks, Paul, John and Sandra for your encouraging words. It all looks so easy, when you look at top artists work. But if you study them you realise how much thought and planning goes into them. E.W. Often used that 'trick' of having puddles in just the right place to reflect trees, poles etc. To add interest.

Painted this little watercolour at the art group tonight, from one of Wesson’s lovely watercolours. Like how he has placed the puddles so the poles reflect in them, also how he has used counterchange to create interest in the overlapping foliage. Why don’t I remember to do that!
