I feel better already, Stephen. Lovely painting and I can't help wondering where this is. Could be Snowdonia, the Lake District or somewhere in Scotland, OR it could be in your imagination. Whatever. you have a lovely lakes and mountains scene with your delightful red sail. Brian

It is an imaginary scene, whe I first started painting I used to like Ray Campbell Smith's 'learn to paint books' he always advised putting in little detail, which Imstill think is a good tip for painting in watercolour. I read recently that he had died at a good age, I think at nearly a hundred years old!
