I do like this one very much I don't know why but that blend of colour and drawing really seems to work well

Many thanks Dennis, there is a very good artist who posts occasionally on the site who colours parts of his drawings, it is quite original, I've also seen some artists who just add a little red, perhaps a telephone box or a London bus, it does often lift the drawing.

Your figures are so natural in this painting and the colour works very well too Stephen.

You&#39;ve got the scale and perspectives spot on Stephen and I like the idea of leaving parts without colour.

Many thanks everyone for your encouraging comments, much appreciated. Terry it is in an A5 cartridge pad and I used a black biro to draw it and added a few touches of watercolour later.

This is excellent, Stephen. I really like how you used selective addition of colors to emphasize your focal point.
