Many thanks everyone for your very kind comments. Saddleworth is a collection of small villages just on the border between Yorkshirea andLancashire in the foothills off the Pennines. There are lots of quaint old stone cottages like these. I live a few miles away in Oldham, not as picturesque but the houses are much more affordable, so I can afford to buy art materials!
