This is a very good drawing Stephen, and worthy of a painting I feel keeping those areas in shadow really dark.

Many thanks Gudrun and Ruth. Yes Ruth it is Shaw near Oldham, I live in Oldham. I took the photo a few years ago and walked down a lane to get to this spot, it might even be in Newhey.
