I really like your painting Linda.Have you tried any papers with more of a tooth, I would suggest Art Spectrum Colourfix papers or Fisher400 which has more of a sandpaper surface.

Thank you for your tip Teresa. I've tried Ingres, but the tooth shows up too much. I will certainly try your suggestions. Perhaps the one I am using is meant for oil pastel.
