For this one I did most of the painting before the model entered the room. I knew I needed an underpainting, otherwise I would not get it finished in time so I painted a big fleshy blob. Daubed some shadowy blobs roughly where the eyes, nose and mouth might be, green background and red hair. When she arrived I drew some features in and then I quite liked it so stopped. Not my usual style at all.
