I like this a lot Sophie. I think you were right to leave the detail out, it may have become 'too busy' The use of light in the distance shows how a modern city spreads out, while pushing the foreground buildings toward to the viewer. Very good.

Beautiful! You’ve got so much there yet with very little detail. Love the water, the turquoise against the purple shades.
