What a lovely idea Karen. I’m sure the owners would be delighted to have it. We stayed a couple of times in a friend’s caravan overlooking the coast in west Wales and I painted the scene from there and gave it to her. It’s a very personal thing, and I’m sure they would love this.

Thankyou Tessa. The lady rang me when we arrived home to say thankyou and how much she liked it, so I'm glad I did it. I'd wanted to do a portrait of 1 or 2 of the sheepdogs but there was only 1 shy one about (the one in the pic, kept scuttling away. Same with the sheep, I must look scary, lol), I think the others that are normally there were in the barns protecting the lambs from foxes.

I enjoyed doing it though but I would have liked more time to do it better (I wanted to leave it for the proprietor before we left to thank them for our stay)
