Thankyou Heather, and yes it certainly is hard, sometimes I think I must be such a control freak, haha. I do like photo realism but it would be nice to be able to let go and do quick loose paintings too sometimes (without it looking like a muddy splodge, lol)

This portrait is my result from attending the latest watercolour art class. I am learning to fix my mistakes, paint more loosely (a big struggle for me!) and most of all I thoroughly enjoyed it :)
