A beautiful painting Skylar. The grapes look so juicy and the collander is excellent.

Love the subtlety of the shadows, rich colours and the way you have done the colander - just enough holes to get the message across. It's so refreshing to see so many aspects of your work. So much better than artists who are inclined to stick to one particular theme. As an artist I think we should try to observe all aspects of life rather than narrowing our vision to eg. land/seascapes. Much more rewarding and challenging to tackle as much as we can.

Carole (my sister's name) - Thank you so much for your observation. I feel the same as you. Why limit subject matter?! Most who do, have found a thing they do very well, and are happy to stay with it. I'm not one of those. I subscribe to the thoughts of da Vinci. Everything is interesting.

Margaret - Thank you! It took me a while to acclimate to Digital. I painted mostly with WC or acrylics for years. In 1995(?), I discovered digital, and haven't looked back.
