But what does all this actually mean?? Is this a photograph of a flower taken with a digital camera and then made to look like an oil painting?

Hi Lionel - The digital process I use employs an Electronic Pad & Pen, and a computer program that can imitate any art materials. I chose to "Paint" like I used to do with traditional paints, brushes, & canvas. All this is created from scratch just like taking out a fresh canvas, and filling it with an image. There is no Photograph lurking under the surface.

I thought this was an oil painting Skylar. Thanks for explaining the process. I always thought digital art meant photographs too! Jx
