Sian, you have been rushing here. There is not enough paint on the paper and you didn't like what you were doing. Look at the shapes and forget about the details! This is not you!! I paint with a group every Wednesday and we are given the subject, never to copy anything, but I rarely do what the others are doing and my teacher doesn't mind. She knows me and accepts that I'm different and respects me for that. You have already found your style and should continue your chosen road. I really like your progress and want to see how you go on. I also hope that you don't mind me telling you what I think, it's only an honest opinion, not a criticism. Satu

Rushing , Satu, I was struggling along, behind the rest of the group with their flying paintbrushes, desperate for some tuition! I also wondered if I was trying something different at home because I wasn't capable of traditional painting but my 3 didn't turn out so much worse than the rest. So I am very pleased to get your honest advice which will give me the confidence to return to more thinking and shapes and getting involved in the pictures. Thank you for your values support.
