He's gorgeous Sharon! Proves how many different ways there is by just spattering the paint and have fantastic results. Well done!

He's great Sharon, an excellent bit of spattering!

This is very good, he looks friendly too!

Excellent use of spatter - he's ace!

Now that is brilliant. Very different from your usual. Lovely to see!

Thanks for all your lovely comments - he was just a bit of fun really, but I suppose he is quite handsome !

Thanks Carole for your comment on my Amaryllis ; this was an old posting, but on the new site everything seems to be getting a new lease of life !

This is great Sharon, love both the spattering and the layering of washes.<br />

A splendid splattering Sharon - you have made a really lively image.

Wow - fantastic, brilliant - wish I had done this one!!

Another great splatter!

Thanks Joseph, Julie, Thea and Glennis. I really enjoy this uninhibited approach ; although it doesn&#39;t always produce something worth looking twice at, it certainly frees you up and kick starts your imagination. A good exercise if youre feeling particularly uncreative, I can recommend it.

Watercolour. Seeing all those lovely spatterings on the gallery reminded me of one I did last year at art class. In this case the idea was to spatter randomly both wet and dry, and see what emerged. I couldn't resist trying to make a recognizable image from it, the next challenge would be to leave it completely abstract.
