This is very beautiful, brilliantly well drawn, and a lesson in what you can actually afford to leave out of a painting rather than trying to cram in so much detail that you lose the plot.

Really super - I can see Jean Haines, but you are defining a bit more which I find more attractive. Sometimes, although I love loose work, Jean H goes a bit far for me. I much prefer what you are doing with this technique. Beautifully painted.

A really beautiful piece. Love the translucency of your washes and the way you so effortlessly capture the essence of your subject.

Simply beautiful.

This is not an easy subject to do in watercolour and you have made a really good job of it. I always have believed that less is more. I wish I had painted it .

Lovely light washes here for all the grasses around the cheetah who is also beautifully painted in light colours, love the fade out half way down cheetah's body

Again trying to use soft brushwork and thinking less information, as Jean Haines indicates, I enjoyed painting this cheetah resting in the shade.
