I do admire Jean Haines work and style and have tried it, but it is harder than it looks. Mixing the paint on the paper always gives a freshness to a painting and I can see that this is the case here as the colours are clear and luminous. I think you have done an excellent job - keep going - it probably gets easier as you go along.

This works well but please don't go too far down the Jean Haines route, however much you like it. You have a very special style all of your own that is too good to spoil by trying to emulate someone else.
