Thank you very much, everyone, for your very kind comments. Thea, yes, it was a lovely place to stay, with beautiful gardens. It was as charming as it looks, although I took some liberty with the colors in the painting. Lesley, no, unfortunately, our stay in Franschhoek was far to short and we only had a day there. We did pass by La Petite Ferme on our way into Franschhoek, but did not have the opportunity to stop by.

A lovely painting Seok Yam, the tree gets my vote too. A stunning spot and you've conveyed that.
