I've never seen a purple fish before but you've made it look positively attractive with your special touch Seok. I like the way you've painted the scales on the body of the fish and the background water.

Lovely colour Seok and such detail!

Beautiful fish Seok, great textures, not like our old mackeral!

Now that's some fish Seok! Your paintings are bringing a splash of colour to the never ending greyness here!

Great fish, love the color and patterns on it, I think it would be even better if the background was a bit softer and lighter to make the fish stand out even more.

very beautiful and confident work :) well done

Thank you so very much, everyone! Kevin, you're so right. I should have made the background lighter. I will be bearing that in mind when I work on another fish painting that's in the pipeline. Thanks very much for your very helpful critique.

The fish with no name - eye catching work Seok

What an amazing fish. This would make a super tile panel or mural as the colours are so exciting and engaging. Lovely work, Seok.

Thanks so very much, Michael and Thea!

Wonderful work. I'm not surprised you wanted to paint him/her. Gorgeous.

Thanks very much, Dawn!

Wow, this is amazing. Lovely work

Now he is a handsome, colourful fella! We have boring fish in our cold waters !

Thanks very much, Glennis and Sarah!

Saw this gorgeous purple fish at the River Safari section of the Singapore Zoo. It's supposed to be a native of the Mississippi River but unfortunately there was no information about it or its name.
