Marjorie, it's acrylic on canvas (I've now included the information in the writeup) and Fiona, it took about 3 hours before I wilted and gave up. Thankful for my Best Brella, that wonderful umbrella which could be attached to my easel. Painting in the hot sun is so NOT fun!
