You do get to some exotic places Seok. Lovely work.

Oh a masterpiece Seok world class

Beautiful Seok! Your tones shine through.

I can feel the humidity almost, tremendous work Seok and great to see these unusual places.

Brilliant lights on this , Seok, it is a very pleasing piece of work.

What can I say Seok, it's tremendous!! Those trees and plant foliage are out of this world. Excellent!!!

Martin plus the others have said it all Seok.

Stunning work Seok, the tree on the right is fantastic. I love all the blue and violet accents of colour throughout the whole piece but especially in the tree.

Thanks so very much, everyone!

Such a lovely painting

That's a beauty Seok , fantastic use of colour to guide the eye

Thanks very much, Glennis and Dermot!

Although I've never been to the Himalayas, I've seen other paintings, and photographs, of the region - and this light seems typical; hard to describe, but it's bright without being harsh, as though there's often vapour in the atmosphere (which I imagine there would be). So I believe in your painting, which is always a good start! Very gentle, and appealing.

Incidentally, I should remember this because I think you told us long ago in response to a question - but would I be correct in saying that Seok is your surname, and Yam Chew your forenames? Only I have a feeling some of us have got it wrong!

Lovely work Seok

I really feel as though I'm travelling the world with your stunning paintings Seok, they really bring these beautiful parts of the world to life, and this is no exception.

A lovely piece of work Seok....I love the colourful bush in the foreground, and the way you have portrayed the foliage on the background tree.

Thanks very much, Robert, Frank, Val and Chandra! Robert, my first name is Seok Yam, and my surname is Chew. Most of my friends call me Seok. And I'm sure there are some people who would call me by names not to be repeated in polite society!

I love this composition Seok - the colours of the trees are superb and you have given the house a look of mystery

Thanks very much, Lynne!
