Looks good to me Seok

I love your monoprints Seok, they look such fun to do. A little bit of artistic licence never goes amiss and the fact that the shapes and colours are not true representations is where the appeal lies. Keep 'em coming!

Love this one again Seok, really like the effects you can obtain with this method

This is just delightful Seok impossible or not.

I find you assembled birds and plants so fascinating Seok! Who cares if they don't fit geographically on the same page, it's the fantastic result of your mono printing that counts. This Silver Moon is truly beautiful!!

A bit different Seok, lovely greys against the reds. I've never done this kind of work - it would make an appealing greetings card as well as a painting. Nice composition, I like the "abstracted" effects.

It's lovely I struggle too trying to get away from the usual!!

A little bit of artistic licence can go a long way to providing a exciting new piece Seok, I think the overall effects work splendidly and I like the outcome a lot , with all these brilliant shapes and colours it is a winner .

Great texture colour and design Seok

This is super Seok, great colours and designed so well. You are getting so good at these monoprints.

Very effective and eye catching work Seok!

Looks good to me too!!

Beautiful image, Seok. Vibrant, and interesting to look at.

Soooo good Seok! Very atmospheric!

A pinch of salt and there you have it....a very tasty dish, and this is Seok. Interesting and pleasing to look at, great ideas.

This is so interesting Seok, great couple of birds and just the two colours and their tonal range works so well.

This is an accomplished piece of work, Seok - so elegant and such a lovely design. I love all the different shapes from the wispy grasses to the unusual birds. Super work.

I like the way you've got that bird looking up at the moon Seok - he looks slightly taken aback. The struggle you say you have for ideas certainly doesn't show, the silvery moon casts its magical light.

Thank you so very much, everyone, for your encouraging comments!

Fascinating ! You make it sound easy...... but the artist is there. Great use of colour and texture and the idea of positive and negative marks. Stands out on the gallery.

Thanks very much, Avril! Unfortunately it's anything but easy, I find it incredibly difficult. The process is highly unpredictable, and every piece that turns out presentable seems to be an accident. But I do love the process when it succeeds, because it's always fun and unexpected and a good result is always a lovely surprise. Then again, I also have a pile of paper a mile high to document my spectacular failures too!

Great Seok, love the silvery take on this. A lovely combination too.

Thanks very much, Carole!

Continuing to practise putting together scenes for my monoprinting exercises. What I hate about it is that I'm always stumped for ideas. Then again, whatI love about it is you can put together the most absurd combination of masks and stencils and no one will notice the absurdity since only the silhouette appears, lol! So, for this print, it's some Singapore wild grass and a spray of wild pigeon orchid, a stencil of a South African guinea fowl and a stencil of an East African Yellow Necked Spurfowl. Totally impossible geographically, but it was great fun to put together and I probably needed something to knock me off my realistic perch!
