Very amusing and lovely colours.

Love all your paintings and this one especially as i remember being chased by geese when child.

Thank you, Susie and Nora. I sympathise with you Nora. It is scary being a child confronted by a big old gander!!

You would love Christopher's house. Geese, ducks, peacocks, iguanas! Lovely

I love this...I live in Western Australia and we have Black Swans which are a bit smaller that the White Swans...eating lunch in the park and I got chased by a whole bunch of them...needless to say they got my lunch which is what the gang were after in the first place

Ho! Patsy - another subject for another picture - greedy black swans gobbling your luncheon pack! Just what animals do! I like your tales!

Hi Selina I thought I would write to you here because you havn't set up a blog yet...mind you, you have a busy life with all of your animals and young children too...every time I look at your paintings they really bring a smile to my face...glad you had a good time away you sound rested...yes living in Western Australia can bring some surprises in the animal line...we live just next to a golf course and when they build the golf courses here the wild animals get locked in and become a part of the landscape...a good safe place for them with the urban sprawl...the other night Daughter was backing down the drive and there was a Kangaroo just standing there...it came from the golf course so the fence is in need of repair...I don't like to kill animals so our resident snake comes from the golf course every year and lays her eggs somewhere in our garden...so around November we watch were we put our feet...they all go away back to the golf course...now I don't live in the bush we live within 10/15 minutes drive from the city...but just have to live and let live every thing has it's place...I feel if we kill the snakes then we would be over run with mice and rats...well Selina enough of my Oz stories good to hear from you

Hi Patsy I have taken your advice and 'blogg'led on! I hope you can find it. I would love to see your animals! I wonder how quickly I could draw a kangeroo! I haven't seen a wild snake for years. When I was a child they used to lay their eggs in the compost heap, and very strange things I thought they were. I remember they always had a funny smell! They can't give you smells on TV can they!! They were all leathery. You would never bore me with aussie animal stories! I wish my brother told me such stories. Sadly I do not have any children. They would not be so young by now either! Never mind there are plenty of other peoples' kids to play with, and when I was the right age I got paid to play with them too! I am going to try and do some work on my picture of two young blackbirds now...

Hi Selina. have just found your gallery for the first time. I just think this picture is brilliant, love the way you have captured the menacing geese. Greay gallery. Thanks.
