Pretty in Pink

Comments

Very interesting Jill. It looks like a print. I like it. Perhaps explain more. Very good.

Lovely detail and particularly the windows ,it looks amazing the garden and pretty in pink Jill.

Thank you Chris...It is done with a sort of layering process. Collage, then a dominant colour in this case pink ...in acrylic. More layers of acrylic and ink to give texture and colour variation using card ( no brushes) Windows tentatively blocked in to leave some background showing. Window frames in black and white ink with the sharp edge of a card. Foreground done last very loosely, some splashing, flicking and loose lines in pen.

Thank you Angela.

Thanks for the explanation Jill and a very good end result

Great result and an interesting method to achieve it!

Thanks for that Jill. Some interesting techniques for me to try.

Lovely, Jill. I like your interesting technique! We were there last week in Cheltenham and weather was great!

The whole effect is very attractive and the method very interesting.

Thank you everyone.

Lovely work!
