It is great looking painting for sure. I like the composition, but the reflection on the water most.

The reflections are particularly good

This is beautifully painted especially in the time scale. It’s the reflections on the water that give it it’s vibrancy , great doing quick work as no time to fiddle.

Everywhere one looks in this painting there is interest. The colours and marks in the water are simply superb, and the horizontal structuring of the yellow-greens on the facing bank is fascinating. The water alone would make a great abstract!
