Beautiful work. The indistinct background with sharp edged branches and the Robin really work well. A seasonal subject as I only seem to hear them at moment.

This is beautiful!!. I am new to pastels (normally paint in watercolour, but felt the need to try something different) I hope that one day I will be able to my name to painting as stunning as this one!

beautiful painting Sean, robins are solitary birds, extremely territorial and have been known to fight to the death, but their song is second to none, your picture combined with a Robins song would be something else! well done

Super use of pastel, the foreground colours combined with the soft background really convey the feeling of a cold frosty morning and the robin is just perfect.

I cannot add much more to what has already been said except to say it is one of the best pastel paintings I've seen in a long time. You should be proud to have produced such a beautiful painting.
