It’s beautiful. Full of energy and fabulous colours. Love it.

Thank you Rachel. I should have added that I did this version in 1986 I think this is the third or fourth copy I made.

That's a stunning peace of work, copy or not. A very challenging subject. The National Maritime Museum was a boyhood haunt of mine, so I can understand the inspiration generated.

Wonderful painting Michael.

Great painting. Reminds me of Wimslow’s Work.

Love the rough sea.

Fabulous Michael

Fabulous energy love the light, too, Michael!

A fabulous, atmospheric painting Michael. I just love the colours too.

A marvellous painting, Michael, and I'm sure the scale must send it into the stratosphere. What a piece to hang in your sitting room. Excellent! Bri

Oils on Board 3 feet x 4 feet. This a my copy of a section of the original work by E W Cooke ( It is in the Nat Maritime Museum). Not a patch on the original but I really did learn a lot from this. Still have it, it hangs in our sitting room
