Beautiful painting which captures the scene extremely well. We had a COD Gannet onboard Ark Royal in 64 to 66 but the Seahawk date the time to the late 50s or early 60s. The Gannet is about to do a free take off I assume

24 x16 inches on MDF. Golden Acrylics. One of a number of Gannets adapted as COD (Carrier Onboard Delivery ) aircraft this one also converted to carry the Flag Officer Aircraft Carriers (FOAC) Technically a difficult painting to complete and it's taken a few weeks to get here. Hope you enjoy it.
