This is so good Michael. I really like the way you've painted the water and skies and the colours you've used overall. I also like the boat in the foreground in sharp focus against the softer background.

An absolutely fabulous painting , like you I like painting boats. I use watercolour, but you have made oils look so good. Strange that two ex RAF servicemen like to paint boats, I did spend some time the ASR boats in Gib.

Thank you both for your enthusiastic comments. It is very rewarding to hear that folk enjoy the work that I do. I spent 31 years in the mob Dixie and painted perhaps a dozen aircraft. I painted boats !! when I retired I decided to paint aircraft.... Oh well. I have never mastered watercolour. In my opinion the most demanding medium of all. Good luck with your work.
