"Feet Wet Scooter, Hang In There!"
Scooter was a nickname given to the diminutive A4 Skyhawk. This painting started out as an exercise in dealing with ellipses and lettering/markings in perspective. Painted in acrylic it depicts a fictional incident during the Vietnam war. A badly damaged A4 is given encouragement by the pilot of the A1 Skyraider as the Scooter struggles back to its carrier. "Feet Wet" signifies that the aircraft have cleared the land . A difficult deck landing awaits
