Hartland Point revisited
A number of folk have been kind enough to review the original of this painting. I've had it on the wall for a while now and decided that some tweaks were necessary. For instance, I thought the purple shadows too intrusive and not wholly in keeping with the overall lighting. To add greater depth to the atmosphere I have added the suggestion of a headland beyond the main rock formation and removed the tsunami like wave that appeared on the left close to the horizon. In addition the rolling edge of the main wave on the right of the main burst of foam looked too lumpy to me so I've brought it back to a more realistic state. I'd be interested to hear what you all think of the changes.
