I really do like the oils in your gallery Sarah and I've only just seen this one which is particularly lovely. The light in the canopy is so good; also the way the eye is led to the end of the lane. Beautiful!

Oil on gesso board 18 x 24 cm. The lane is just a bridle path now but it must be quite old - there is an Iron Age hill Fort half way along it.
