This is done in ordinary acrylics on sheet canvas, and was one of my first. There was a lot of scumbling involved. I now prefer to work with Golden OPEN Acrylics which are slow drying ---- and can be re-activated to allow extended mixing of colours on the canvas. And they can be cleaned off clothes. They cost more but I consider them worth it.
